My Yeshua (Isaiah 49:6-7) (Light to the Gentiles)
My Yeshua
(Isaiah 49:6-7) (Light to the Gentiles)
(You can change the version; this is the Orthodox Jewish Bible)

G-d made has covenants with humankind in which he is the strong party and humans are the weaker party. Even if we do not keep our part of the covenant, G-d keeps his part. He keeps his word and does what he promises.

The Hebrews or Jews were selected out of polytheistic culture to get to know G-d, live well as they obeyed his laws, and be a light to the nations which would be attracted to G-d as a moth is attracted to light.

From time to time G-d punished his people for disobedience. He used sword, famine (of food and of hearing from him), and pestilence. The sword necessarily was wielded by a powerful unbeliever such as a king or ruler over many. When G-d did this, if those who triumphed over his people expressed glee that they triumphed over the people of G-d, he promised that when he was done punishing his people, he would come back and punish those who he used to punish them. It's always a good idea if you have to be used as an instrument of G-d to behave in such a way that you do not also incur his wrath when it's over.

While Israel remains in part in the Mosaic covenant or in part secularized without belief in G-d, the believing Gentiles saw the light to the nations and have been grateful. They are dedicating their lives to bringing the good news to the ends of the earth. In a sense, the Gentiles have taken over the mission assigned to the Jews.

This will change.

My experience with G-d is, when you fail, he just recommissions you. It is important to back this up with scripture. The book of Jonah in the Old Testament is all about a prophet who was assigned the task of warning the Ninevites of impending judgment who went to great lengths not to warn them. Jonah wanted them to be judged! G-d won, the Ninevites heard the warning and repented and G-d relented.

However, the prevailing emphasis on works righteousness (righteousness with G-d resulting from personal works) implies that if you fail, G-d erases you. You either double up on works while being sorry or you give up and hide, usually in plain sight pretending all is well while appearing very busy. I discovered being sorry and repenting which I did for over a year did not have a lasting result. I needed to transact business with G-d, not just myself. I did not yet know the depth of my separation from G-d. I imagined more effort on my part was all that was needed. When it finally became clear to me, all I wanted to do was to repent, give up on self effort and let G-d know I was so sorry I had insulted him thinking I could correct things between us by a change of my behavior. When I did that, essentially gave up on my own righteousness and threw myself on the mercy of G-d, G-d transacted business with me and forgave me and shared with me his presence. I realized this was impossible without the Cross (a legal subsitute took my place and took my curse) which is probably why I felt his presence forgiving me and loving me just as I was at the time of the transaction.

Joseph Prince has said the in the book of Ruth, Ruth's closest kin was unable to redeem her. Therefore, the assignment to marry her fell to Boaz, another close relative but less close. He did not have first right of refusal. Ruth was a Moabitess. Joseph Prince said the law of the closest relative taking her dead husband's place, could not save her as he was unable due to the precariousness of his own situation. He could not be the legal substitute. Only grace, undeserved favor, enacted by the one who stepped in in the place of the closest relative, Boaz, could save her. He was wealthy enough to do the required land purchase. Think about this.

If you have failed in your mission, G-d will recommission you when you are ready, when you come into his presence his way. We Gentiles have called it coming into the Holy of Holies. We realize we were only allowed into the Outer Court under the law but under grace we came the whole way in. When Yeshua died, the curtain in the Temple tore from top to bottom. G-d himself tore it through the once-for-all sacrifice of his Son who is our high priest forever...the Melchizedek who deserves our first fruits, not our insults.

It can be very confusing out there looking at the many Christian denominations, the competing leaders, the cults, the religions that have filled the gap of the nations looking for meaning. Rather than laughing at the world's goyim, you have the option of admitting you failed. Without the certain leadership of G-d, humankind has made up its own meaning. Another way to look at it is, your rejection of the Messiah, isn't just your own choice, but your choice has negatively affected the peoples of the earth. The very strange believing Gentiles are out there carrying out your mission.

G-d will make the correction by recommissioning you if you will allow him to. The way is extremely painful and individual and personal. I say extremely painful because the byword "may his name be blotted out" to the fully known "he is my salvation" has got to be more difficult than ignorance to recognition of G-d. If you will not, at the time of Zechariah 12, you will repent if you are alive at that time. How do I know you will repent? Evidence beyond a shadow of a doubt will be presented to you, (Zechariah 12:11-14)

Revelation speaks of the 144,000 (Revelation 12) end-time witnesses. Revelation 14 speaks of the mission to reach the whole world with the good news now known to and embraced by the 144,000.

An increasing number of Jews do become true believers in Jesus or Yeshua now, the Son of G-d who died for them, ahead of the time of Zechariah 12. Your rejection of him will not last although some or many will die first and not see it and not have the opportunity.

Many true Christians believe Jesus will come again at the beginning of the end-times 7 year tribulation period (Daniel 9:27). Other true Christians believe Jesus will come in the middle of the end-time tribulationan the 3 1/2 year mark of the 7 years. Other true Christians, fewer in number, believe Christians will go through the Great Tribulation (the last 3 1/2 years). While there are strong beliefs and systems created to explain most scriptures, there often isn't humility to match the intellectual rigor of the teachings. What we Gentiles need to learn is to hide our eyes and let G-d be G-d, who is past finding out at times. About the rapture.

A powerful movie is A Thief in the Night which you can watch right now by clicking on this link. If nothing else, it imparts a sense of urgency that your soul is too important to take a chance that could cause you to lose it. Its premise is the pre-tribulation rapture or catching away of true believers. If you choose not to believe this, forget the beginning and watch what it might be like during the tribulation. This movie, if I remember correctly, states it is not possible to repent after the true believers disappear. I believe G-d's mercy never ends and it will be more difficult due to disruption of society and political repression to repent, but you still can. The book of Hebrews in the New Testament advises to repent TODAY (Hebrews 3:15).

Israel, your day is not over! Your corporate blindness will last only until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. This would be counted in billions not thousands. Jesus said, "My table must be filled. (Luke 14:12-24) "Go into the highways and byways and compel them to come in." (Luke 14:23) But in the end the two witnesses of Revelation will preach. And you will be the 144,000. You might think this is the present day Messianics. I think it will be you, who may be very angry with me now. I honor you by being honest with you. I have been your student and received and understood your insults. After several decades, it is time to speak up.

To any Gentile reading this page, don't laugh. "He who sits in the heavens laughs." Armageddon is promised. The armies of the earth will gather in the Plain of Meggido to march on Jerusalem. If the Hebrew G-d exists, you do not want to be marching to Jerusalem to destroy it. You do not want to take any kind of physical mark on the forehead or right hand. If you cannot think of it any other way, remember Harrison Ford in the movie The Raiders of the Lost Ark. Have some respect and fear of the Hebrew G-d. Turn now before delusion takes over. I have experienced delusion for a short period of time and it is strong, much stronger than you think. You cannot overcome it unless you already know the truth.

I shared my faith with a medical doctor on a ferry in Turkey. I gave him my New Testament. He found me later and gave it back saying, "Too strong medicine." I was young then and I have white hair now. He is probably dead now. His rejection at the time doesn't mean he continued to reject it. Perhaps G-d sent someone else when he was more vulnerable and open to change. The book of Hebrews in the New Testament says, "Today, if you hear his voice." (Hebrews 3:15) This means you may be like a man on a flying trapese. You let go of one swing bar then immediately grab on to another. I am not describing leaving the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. I am describing returning to the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, with the faith of Abraham which was counted to him as righteousness, NOT staying as you are with your own righteousness which consists of obedience to the law and doing good. This is not enough to cover you sin and never will be. It is chaff compared to a feast. Make the switch from unbelief to belief that G-d has made a way through the blood sacrice of His Son, first hinted at by G-d's command to Abraham to sacrific his son Isaac, just choose to follow it with your whole heart.

A U.S. postman delivered a package to me. I gave him a tract (a folded paper with writing about Jesus). I thought he would read it at home. But he read the entire tract in front of me. Although he had a turban on his head, he said, "I believe you can change from the religion you were born in." This suprized me. The tract had this website stamped on it so he could easily go home and read more. Did he? I never saw him again.

Jesus spoke of a father who had two sons. (Matthew 21:28-31) He gave a command. One son said, "I'll do it, but never did." The other said, "I won't do it but later did it." Which did the will of the father? The one who did what the father asked. In this case it's 50-50. Although every single person on earth could decide to follow Jesus, Jesus himself called this decision the narrow path that leads to life.

Who am I? I lived in Israel. I lived on two kibbutzim (Kibbutz Ma'ayan Zvi and Kibbutz En Dor as part of the Ulpan program. I learned to scuba dive in Elat in Hebrew. I'm still alive! I have a call from G-d to the whole earth to present in a coherent way what I have found in Jesus Christ. G-d told me in 1985, "Go to Israel, it's not negotiable." I planned to go and I did. I also thought about what would happen if I did not go. I finally decided "the wages of sin is death" (Romans 6:23) and death for me would be a boring life. So I came to you because the father asked me to.

Daniel 7:13-14

"13 I was beholding in visions of the night, and, hinei, one like a Bar Enosh (Ben Adam, i.e., Moshiach) came with the clouds of Shomayim, and came to the Atik Yomin (Ancient of Days, i.e., Hashem), and before Him He was brought.

14 And there was given Him (Moshiach) dominion, and honor, and sovereignty, that all people, Goyim, tongues, should pey-lammed-chet (see Dan 3:12, serve, reverence as deity Him (Moshiach). His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His (Messianic) Kingdom that which shall not be destroyed."
